Why am I losing 1 gallon of antifreeze in a 5 gallon system in my 1940 ford deluxe radiator
After installation of new Bod Drake Radiator for my 1940 ford, and it looks so pretty, I also replace the hoses and clamps. Found the cover that goes underneath the radiator. I notice when the car heats up the overflow will drain out about 1 gallon of coolant if you drive it for 15 minutes or more. I was very surprised it made a mess inside the engine compartment. Seem this is a issue with this type of Radiator. (Solution: I will order a George "Skip" Haney ) Here is the link i found the solution to my problem:
