1940 Ford DeLuxe Fordor

In the summer of 2012, there was a car show in Merchantville, New Jersey. That's when I saw it, a 1940 Ford DeLuxe Fordor for sale. I was walking with my two daughters looking at classic cars and there she was - all black with four doors. She reminded me of a gangster car. So, three months later I was able to save enough money to purchase the car. 

 

By January 18th, 2013, I was registering my new car and the funny part about that special day was that it was also my birthday! This website is about the ongoing history of this unique car. For instance in the spring of 2013, this car was also used for a photo shoot for the Walnut Street Theatre production of Driving Miss Daisy.
